Social Media and Community Manager

Consonant Skin+Care is Canada’s leading line of natural, clinically-proven skin care. We’re looking for an experienced digital media expert to grow the Consonant community.

At Consonant Skin+Care, we work with customers to help them discover their best skin. That starts with producing industry leading products. We then tell the full Skin+Care story by providing easy health suggestions to help amplify product results from the inside out. We believe in delighting and surprising our customers at every turn. Our digital media manager is responsible for bringing the Consonant brand to life online.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a Consonant Skin+Care expert and share your love for the brand with the Consonant community
  • Create and manage the social editorial calendar according to goals and marketing initiatives
  • Work with marketing team to ideate promotional calendar
  • Develop relationships and nurture the Consonant community with customers, influencers and key brand partnerships
  • Build and execute long-term strategic social communications programs
  • Analyze and exceed KPI’s while maintaining brand voice
  • Report weekly on social results and affiliate programming
  • Provide customer service and two-way dialogue over social channels
  • Support VP Marketing
  • Create and produce branded photo and video content
  • Shoot product and lifestyle photos
  • Manage and grow the Consonant Affiliate Program

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management
  • Demonstrated ability to create exciting content and generate high levels of engagement
  • Proactive and willing to go above and beyond to help grow the business
  • An excellent creative writer able to effectively communicate in the Consonant voice
  • Comfortable producing both static and video content
  • Flexible and able to pivot quickly
  • A natural connector
  • Social media savvy: Deep understanding of social media analytics and best practices. A bias for Tiktok and Instagram.
  • Detail oriented
  • Graphic design and photography experience are a must
